BOAT MIGRANTS 2008-2013
Boat Migrants entering Italy from the coast of Libya. Frightened by the rapidly increasing influx of migrants from Africa, European states have been intensifying border controls. Unfortunately, this has not stopped migration. Instead, migrants are choosing more dangerous ways to enter the E.U. One of the most dangerous ways is to cross the Mediterranean Sea in overcrowded unguided boats.
